Several types of the chiral thiols with two aromatic rings have been synthesized and grafted on polybutadiene diols backbone. The resulting polymers possess the OH end groups for possible preparation of the liquid crystal ordered networks. The efects of the side chain structure, number of the chiral groups and and density of grafting on the polybutadiene diols has been studied.

Bylo syntetizováno několik typů chirálních tiolů se dvěma aromatickými kruhy a tyto materiály byly naroubovány na polybutadienový řetězec. Získané polymery mají koncovou OH skupinu pro případnou přípravu uspořádaných kapalně krystalických sítí. Byl studován vliv struktury postranního řetězce, počtu chirálních skupin a hustoty roubování na vlastnosti polymeru.
