    We have demostrated that gastrointestinal tract possess intrinsic molecular clockwork system which is partly independent on central clock. We have shown rhythmic circadian mRNA expression of clock genes Per1, Per2, Rev-Erb-alpha, Bmal1 and one clock controlled gene - NHE3 (Na+/H+ cotransporter) in the rat intestine

    Ukázali jsme přítomnost molekulárního mechanizmu periférních vnitřnich hodin v trávicim traktu potkana. Byla stanovena cirkadiánní rytmická exprese mRNA tzv. hodinových genů a jednoho /"clock-controlled/" genu - kotransportéru Na+/H+, NHE3 ve střevu potkana
