The Cobb-Douglas production function is often used to analyse the supply-side performance and measurement of a country's productive potential. This paper shows that the results of a supply-side analysis based on the production function methodology should be taken with a certain degree of caution.

Cobb-Douglasova produkční funkce se často používá k analyzování nabídkové výkonnosti a měření produkčního potenciálu země. Výsledky nabídkové analýzy založené na metodologii produkční funkce by se měly přijímat s jistým stupněm obezřetnosti.
