Bohumil Vavroušek byl významnou osobností spojenou s myšlenkou čechoslovakismu a s Československem v letech 1918-1938. Během svého života mapoval lidovou a církevní architekturu a sbíral dokumenty k českým spisovatelům, obrozencům a umělcům.

Bohumil Vavroušek was a very important personality linked with the idea of Czechoslovakism and therefore with Czechoslovakia in the years 1918-1938. In the course of his life he mapped folk and church architecture and collected documents of Czech writers, awakeners and artists.
