    Spliceosomal small nuclear ribonucleoprotein particles (snRNPs) are essential pre-mRNA splicing factors that consist of small nuclear RNAs (snRNAs) complexed with specific sets of proteins. Here, we review these findings that suggest a crucial role for Cajal Bodies in the spliceosome cycle in which production of new snRNPs-and perhaps regenerated snRNPs after splicing-is promoted

    Sestřihové malé jaderné ribonukleoproteinové částice (snRNP) jsou základními faktory nezbytnými pro sestřih pre-mRNA. SnRNP se skládají z malých jaderných RNA a sady specifických proteinů. V tomto článku jsme shrnuli fakta, která naznačují základní roli Cajalových tělísek v sestřihovém cyklu a to tak, že zrychlují produkci nových snRNP a pravděpodobně i recyklaci snRNP po sestřihu
