In this review article the theory of OD structures of layers is briefly outlined. Some examples are presented (Fictious structures of given geometry, real structures of minerals kermesite and cronstedtite). Some specific problems related with the refinement of such structures, like appearance of residual maxima in electron density maps due to stacking faults of layers, are discussed

V článku je stručně vyložena teorie OD structur (tvořených vrystvami), uvedeny některé příklady (fuktivní struktury, skutečné struktury minerálů kermesitu a cronstedtitu) a popsány některé zvlášnosti upřesňování techto struktur, zejména vznik reziduálních maxim na mapách elektronových hustot v důsledku poruch kladu vrstev
