Der Artikel widmet sich dem nationalen Stolz auf die Tschechische Republik auf Grund der Ergebnisse der komparativen Erhebung der öffentlichen Meinung, die in den Jahren 2003 und 2005 in den Grenzgebieten zu Deutschland durchgeführt wurde. Es wurden zwei dominante Aspekte des Stolzes definiert: kultureller und politischer, wobei als deutlicher zeigt sich der kulturelle Faktor. Im Zeitvergleich kann man die Stolzgefühle in allen Aspekten mit Ausnahme der Volksabstimmung zum EU-Beitritt betrachten.

The article presents topic of national pride and pride in the Czech republic according to results of comparative opinion poll realized in 2003 and 2005 in Czech-German borderland. It distinguishes 2 dominant aspect of the pride – cultural one and political - economical one. As the stronger source of the pride is shown the cultural one. In time comparison we can find constant increase of feeling of pride in all items out of results of referendum about the EU entrance.

Článek je věnován tématu národní hrdosti a hrdosti na ČR podle výsledků komparativního výzkumu veřejného mínění, provedeného v letech 2003 a 2005 v pohraničních oblastech se SRN. Byly rozlišeny dva dominantní aspekty této hrdosti – kulturní a politickoekonomický, přičemž jako výraznější zdroj hrdosti se ukazuje aspekt kulturní. V časovém srovnání lze konstatovat nárůst pocitu hrdosti ve všech sledovaných položkách kromě výsledků referenda o vstupu do EU.
