The paper focus on recent learning about solvent retention in polymeric high performance - high solids solvent borne coatings. The oligoester and acrylic types of polymer binder and several solvent systems were experimentally evaluated and ways how to minimize solvent entrapment in polyurethane coatings discussed.

Článek je zaměřen na praktické poznatky o retenci rozpouštědel v polymerních nátěrech tvořených z rozpouštědlových vysokosušinových systémů. Oligoesterový a akrylový typ prekurzoru polyuretanového pojiva a několik rozpouštědlových systémů jsou diskutovány. Jsou popsány podmínky, za nichž je zádrž rozpouštědel v polyuretanových filmech minimalizována.
