We investigated systemic effects of selected phytoecdysteroids applying to the roots of the rape plants. Evaluation of the effects was based on mortality, longevity, rate of development and fecundity of the cabbage aphid (Brevicoryne brassicae). The tested ecdysteroids were isolated from the medicinal plant Leuzea carthamoides.
Systémové působení fytoekdysteroidů v rostlinách bylo experimentálně zkoumáno v modelu využívajícím zelí jako hostitelskou rostlinu a jejího hosta, mšici zelnou, jako testovací objekt. Hodnotil se vliv ekdysteroidů na úmrtnost, životnost, rychlost vývoje a plodnost mšic. Testované ekdysteroidy byly izolovány z léčivé rostliny parchy saflorové.
