    Several commercial light-emitting diodes (LED) have a quadratic response to the pulse intensity of a Ti:sapphire laser. We report that they are suitable and smart detectors for sensitive measurements of sub-15-fs laser pulses and foe qualitative estimations of pulse compression

    Existují elektroluminiscenční diody, které mají po ozáření kvadratickou závislost generovaného proudu na intenzitě pulsu Ti:safírového laseru. Zjistili jsme, že jsou vhodné pro citlivé měření délky pulsů v časové oblasti 15fs a kvalitativní odhad komprese pulsu
