Epileptic afterdischarges elicited by stimulation of sensorimotor cortes were chosen to test anticonvulsant effects of NMDA receptor antagonists in developing rats. Anticonvulsant action of the three NMDA antagonists exhibited different developmental profiles in our model, this difference might be due to developmental changes of NMDA receptors

Pro testování antikonvulsivních účinků antagonistů NMDA receptorů u mladých potkanů jsme použili epileptické následné výboje vyvolané drážděním sensorimotorické oblasti mozkové kůry. V tomto modelu jsme prokázali nestejný vývojový profil antikonvulsivního účinku tří antagonistů NMDA receptorů. Tento rozdíl je pravděpodobně dán vývojovými změnami NMDA receptoru
