Die Studie zeichnet die Stellung des Kurfürstentums Sachsen im Koordinatensystem der europäischen Politik während des Dreißigjährigen Krieges nach. Dabei wird unter anderem auf die komplexen Beziehungen zwischen dem lutherischen Sachsen und den Repräsentanten des Böhmischen Ständeaufstands eingegangen.

The study traces the position of Electoral Saxony in the coordinates of European politics during the Thirty Years' War. Attention is paid, among other things, to the complex relations between Lutheran Saxony and the representatives of the Bohemian Revolt.
