Literárně­-společenské kauzy posledních let ukazují, že se vztahem literatury a sociálna stále neumíme zacházet – buď upřednostňujeme jedno, nebo druhé. Jak tento rozštěp překonat? Vedle současných teorií překračujících hranice vědních disciplín nám mohou pomoct i neortodoxní formy marxismu.

Recent literary-social controversies reveal that we still struggle to grasp the relationship between the literary and the social—various research strands tend to prioritise one over the other. How can this divide be overcome? In addition to contemporary theories that cross disciplinary boundaries (notably the work of Rita Felski, Bruno Latour, and Hartmut Rosa), unorthodox forms of Marxism may offer useful tools for reconceptualising this relationship.
