    This article desribes a programmable flow-through system that employs micro-electromembrane extraction in a fully automated mode. The system is composed of a computer-controlled microsyringe pump and a multiposition rotary valve for handling microliter volumes of aqueous and organic solutions and is online coupled to liquid chromatography.
