Příspěvek pojednává o encyklopedii moravských učenců Johanna Petera Cerroniho (1753‒1826), nazvané Nachrichten von den Lebensumständen verstorbener und itzt lebender Schriftsteller Mährens. Obsahuje 2260 folií v pěti svazcích a 962 hesla o autorech, vědcích a dalších učencích, kteří pocházeli z Moravy nebo zde působili. Cerroni začal psát Nachrichten roku 1780 a na konci 18. století byly Nachrichten připraveny k publikaci. Cerroni však pokračoval v práci na Nachrichten a doplňování nových záznamů do své smrti a celá práce tak zůstala nedokončená a nevydaná.

The article deals with the encyclopedia of Moravian scholars by Johann Peter Cerroni (1753‒1826), entitled Nachrichten von den Lebensumständen verstorbener und itzt lebender Schriftsteller Mährens. It comprises 2260 folios in five volumes and contains 962 entries of authors, scientists and other scholars who came from Moravia or worked there. Cerroni started writing the Nachrichten in 1780 and at the end of the 18th century the Nachrichten were ready for publication. However, Cerroni continued working on the Nachrichten and adding new entries until his death and the work remained unfinished and unpublished.
