Odborná kniha obsahuje zákonitosti pro popis stavu vlhkého vzduchu a pro řešení dějů a procesů při změně stavu vlhkého vzduchu. Výpočtové vztahy a výsledky výpočtů se zaměřují na vlhký vzduch, tj. směs suchého vzduchu a vody jako fyzikální substance. Termodynamické a termofyzikální vlastnosti vody a vodní páry jsou uvedeny podle doporučených mezinárodních standardů Mezinárodní asociace pro vlastnosti vody a vodní páry (IAPWS). Poznání a pochopení tepelných vlastností vlhkého vzduchu otevírá širší možnosti řešení problémů, s nimiž se setkávají odborníci v technické praxi i ve vědecko-výzkumných pracovištích v oborech energetiky, životního prostředí, vzduchotechniky, chemického průmyslu a dalších. V knize jsou tabulky, diagramy a technické údaje o vlhkém vzduchu pro širší technické použití.

The technical book incorporates natural relations for description of humid air state and for solution processes at changes of humid air state. Calculation relations and results of calculations concentrate on humid air, i.e. on mixture of dry air and water as physical substance. Thermodynamic and thermophysical properties of water and steam are stated according to recommended standards by International Association for Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS). Knowledge and understanding of thermal properties of humid air open wide possibilities for solution of problems which are encountered by specialists in technical practice, and in research institutions in fields of power engineering, environment, air-handling technology, chemical industry, etc. Tables, diagrams and technical data on humid air for wider technical application are attached in this book.
