V úvodu autor představuje fakta případu Bosman a transferová pravidla pro změnu klubové příslušnosti hráče. Článek se věnuje analýze sporu fotbalového hráče před belgickým soudem a řešení sporných otázek týkajících se odstupného a cizineckých kvót Evropským soudem.

The basic facts of the Bosman case are summed up in this article, focusing on the transfer rules pertaining to shifts in a player’s club membership. The article analyses the feud of this football player at the Belgian court, focusing on the ruling by the European Court of Justice banning restrictions on foreign EU players within national leagues and giving them the right to a free transfer.
