Diagnostic ultrasonic imaging based on higher harmonics derived from Nonlinear Elastic Wave Spectroscopy (NEWS) yields better resolution in view of the decreased wavelength in comparison with the fundamental. This paper is to presents extension of Time Reversal NEWS for skin aging characterization. Using the Nonlinear Time Reversal signal processing enables localization of nonlinearity in a complex skin medium responsible for its aging. Linear and nonlinear elasticity of the skin is measured locally using loading machine optimized for biomaterials. Hysteresis behavior coming from the loading of the skin has been identified with PM-space statistical approach. Extracted hysteretic phenomenological parameters are associated with standard parameters used for skin characterization.
