Jako druhý svazek Byzantské knihovny, která chce navázat na přerušenou tradici překládání byzantské literatury do češtiny, vyšla kniha nazvaná Ať múzy promluví s podtitulem Tři byzantská kvazidramata. V poutavě napsané předmluvě se editorka svazku Alena Sarkissian vydává po stopách celého literárního druhu: byzantské dramatické tvorby a ukazuje, že byzantská kultura ve skutečnosti postrádala živou zkušenost s divadlem. Teatralita neboli divadelnost v Byzanci nicméně nezašla na úbytě, jen se projevuje v jiných aktivitách a žánrech. Ve druhé části knihy najdeme v českém překladu tři příklady kvazidramatické tvorby: Verše o Adamovi Ignatia Diakona, Kočkomyší válka Theodóra Prodroma a tzv. Dramation ('Malé drama'), připisované Michaélu Haplúcheirovi.

As a second volume in the edition of the 'new Byzantine library' appeared a book Let the Muses speak edited by Alena Sarkissian. In her exposition, the editor follows the traces of the entire literary genre: byzantine drama. She tries to show, that the byzantine culture actually lacks theatre experience and fulfils its need for theatricality by means of extra-theatrical enterprises or spectacles produces mere imitations of drama. In the second part of the book the Czech translation of three Byzantine quasidramatic texts created in the 9th and 12th century can be found: Ignatius Diaconus' Verses on Adam, Theodore Prodromos' Katomyomachia and Michael Haplucheir's Dramation. We do not identify them as 'dramas', but 'quasidramas', because these texts were not intended for staging.
