Pilotní experimenty byly zaměřeny na sledování tvorby PCDD/F při spalování různých směsí polymerních plastů. Bylo konstatováno, že energetické využití odpadních plastů při jejich spalování je riskantní. Jediným způsobem pro minimalizaci tvorby dioxinů představuje separace PVC z odpadních plastů.

Pilot plant experiments were focussed on investigation of PCDD/F formation during incineration of different mixtures of plastic polymers. It was stated that waste plastics can not be utilized without risks for energy production by its incineration. Separation of PVC from waste plastics represents the only way for minimization of dioxines formation.
