Náplní příspěvku je vzpomínka na odbornou geofyzikální literaturu v počátcích výchovy geofyziků na vysokých školách v České republice. Základní učebnice byly z počátku v angličtině (Heiland, Jakosky, Nettleton), posléze v ruštině (Logačev, Zaborovskij, Gurvič). Nejvýznamnější počin z pohledu ČR je vydání učebnic Mašína a Válka: Přehled užité geofyziky pro geology (1966) a Mareše a kolektivu: Úvod do užité geofyziky (1979). Následovala řada odborných knih i učebnic, jejich seznam již však není a nemůže být úplný.

Content of this contribution is memory of professional geophysical literature in the early education of geophysicists that studied on universities in the Czech Republic. Basic textbooks have been from the beginning in English (Heiland, Jakosky, Nettleton), then in the Russian languages (Logačev, Zaborovskij, Gurvič). Textbooks written by Mašín and Válek: “Review of applied geophysics for geologists” (1966) and by Mareš et al.: “Introduction to applied geophysics” (1979) were the most important actions from the perspective of the Czech Republic. Series of professional books and textbooks followed in next years but list of these books is not and of course cannot be complete.
