Subject RIV: DA - Hydrology ; Limnology
Based on sensitivity analysis and simulation results for Římov Reservoir, CE-QUAL-W2 is very sensitive to the specification of kinetic parameters and boundary conditions. More complex water quality models (multi-dimensional, greater temporal and spatial discretization, more complex descriptions of food chain), require more frequently measured boundary conditions (order of 1 hour) and carefully measured and evaluated pareameters of bio-chemical processes to obtain more accurate results.
