The paper evaluates the asymptotic local power of the Pearson chi-squared tests of simple hypoteses for alternatives tending to the hypoteses at various speeds when sample size tends to infinity. This power dependes on wether the test partiton of the observation space is fixed or refined in an exhaustive manner when the sample space tends to infinity. Previous results concerning preferences between the tests with fixed and refined partitions are simplified and extended. So me other tests are studied too.
