Studie pojednává o cestování jako zdroji inspirace pro stavební projekty a krajinářskou tvorbu šlechty v období romantismu a ukazuje, jak se tyto cesty odrazily v počinech šlechty týkajících se úprav a budování jejích venkovských sídel i zakládání krajinářských parků. Text se zabývá jak cestami, které podnikli samotní šlechtičtí zadavatelé, tak i výpravami, které podnikli jejich architekti a stavitelé.

The paper deals with travel as a source of inspiration for architectural projects and landscapingamong the nobility during the Romantic period, illustrating how these journeys influenced the nobility's projects concerning the renovation and construction of their country estates as well as the establishment of landscape parks. The text examines both the travels undertaken by the noble patrons themselves and the journeys made by their architects and builders.
