A novel approach to speciation analysis of arsenic was developed and validated being based on HPLC separation of As species in the liquid phase to be subsequently treated by post-column hydride generation (HG) followed by in-situ preconcentration in dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) atomizer and AAS detection in a fully automated procedure.
