    The developed procedure for analysis of vibration of rotating machines is based on utilization of a Jeffcott-like rotor, on representing the viscoelastic properties of the shaft by the standard Zener material, on determination of the shaft equivalent mass, and on two limit cases of the bearing bending stiffness. Applicability of the method was proved by computational simulations.
