“L’Estro poetico-armonico” di Benedetto Marcello fu utilizzato in alcune scene dell’oratorio “Sansone” (Praga 1729), il pasticcio dell’impresario e librettista Antonio Denzio. L’unica fonte nota per questo oratorio è il libretto a stampa, che indica che la rappresentazione dell’oratorio comprendeva anche sette canti ebraici tratti dall’ “L’Estro poetico-armonico”.

Benedetto Marcello’s “Estro poetico-armonico” was used in some scenes of the oratorio “Samson” (Prague 1729), the pasticcio of the opera impresario and librettist Antonio Denzio. The only known source for this oratorio is the printed libretto, which indicates that the performance of the oratorio also included seven Hebrew songs from “Estro poetico-armonico”.
