Text kapitoly se zabývá strukturou a ikonografií výzdoby rukopisů objednaných královnou Eliškou Rejčkou pro starobrněnský klášter cisterciaček, zkoumá typ a funkci výzdobných prvků, podobizny donátorky, identifikuje iluminátory a florátory a nově se zamýšlí nad místem zhotovení tohoto nejstaršího souboru gotické knižní malby v českých zemích.

The chapter of the book deals with the structure and iconography of the decoration of the manuscripts commissioned by the Queen Elizabeth Richeza for the Cistercian nunnery in Old Brno, examines the type and function of the decorative elements, the portraits of the donor, identifies the illuminators and florators, and rethinks the place where this oldest ensemble of Gothic book painting in the Bohemian lands was made.
