Tzv. spirituální influenceři se v českém prostředí zviditelnili během pandemie COVID-19, jejich popularita nadále roste a vyvolává kontroverze ve veřejné debatě. Fenomén spirituálního influencerství je možné propojit s institucí „gurus“ a zároveň je nutné ho vnímat v kontextu digitálního prostoru a sociálních sítí, se kterým je bytostně propojený. Článek analyzuje fenomén spirituálního influencerství právě v těchto souvislostech a na příkladech z českého i mezinárodního prostředí rozebírá, jakým způsobem se vytvářejí online komunity kolem spirituálních influencerů a co svým členům a členkám nabízí.

The so called spiritual influencers became prominent in Czech online space during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their popularity is increasing while various controversies have caught the attention of both media and wider public. Spiritual influencers can be contextualised within the long tradition of “gurus” as well as in the context of current digital and social media landscape in which they are embedded. The article analyses spiritual influencing within both of these frames and using examples from Czech and international influencers
scene, it focuses on the ways in which communities are created around spiritual influencers and what do these communities offer to their members.
