The Expert Manual is an accompanying text to the 'Democratic Trends in Central Europe' Project Report (Booklet). While the booklet provided a graphic presentation of the key findings of the project, the Expert Manual offers a detailed technical description, i.e., the demographic information of the samples, data collection dates and methodology used. The manual also provides all measures, i.e. items and their scales. The description contains Section 1: Political Culture, Section 2: Democratic values, Section 3: Information Processing, Section 4: Satisfaction with life vs. frustration, and Section 5: Socio-Demographic Questions, respectively. Important links include the codebook osf link and links to the project. The manual is concluded by a list of 18 References and logos of the funding agency, principal investigator, and the partners.
