Kniha přináší soubor rozhovorů s aktéry polistopadové transformace české ekonomiky, jednotlivé profesní příběhy zahrnují širokou paletu zkušeností, od nejvyšší, rozhodovací úrovně, přes reflexe účastníků privatizačního procesu, až jednotlivé podnikatelské příběhy. Edice rozhovorů je doplněna úvodní metodologickou statí a závěrečnou interpretační kapitolou, která sleduje některé ze strategií „vyrovnávání se s minulostí”, jak byly v rozhovorech zachyceny.

The book brings a set of interviews with the actors of the Czech economy’s postsocialist transformation. Individual professional stories include a wide range of experiences, from the highest, decision-making level, through reflections of participants in the privatization process, to individual entrepreneurial stories. The edition of the interviews is supplemented by an introductory methodological article and a final interpretive chapter that traces some of the strategies of “coping with the past” as captured in the interviews.
