The conversation about the collection of articles by Oksana Kowacka, a lecturer at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, a representative of those Ukrainianists for whom Ukraine has become not only a subject of research, but also a concern - a desire to act for the common good and to unite people to achieve this goal. For the author, this goal was achieved through her interest in various areas of literary studies, primarily postcolonial criticism and imagology, the study of trauma and historical memory, military discourse, the category of generation, and the question of identity.
