Záchranné terénní výzkumy archeologů Muzea hlavního města Prahy v osmdesátých letech 20. století v tehdy nově objevených lokalitách v Praze-Ruzyni a v Praze-Jinonicích poskytly nejen zásadní nové poznatky o nálezových celcích a organizaci i struktuře pohřebišť a tím i nové poznatky pro sledování sociální struktury pohřbívajících společenství, ale zároveň i možnosti vzájemného srovnání obou současných lokalit. Nové poznatky o světě zdejších společenství 4.–3. století př. Kr. zároveň umožňují sledovat jejich kulturu nejen v materiální oblasti, ale i v uměleckém projevu, v otázkách skupinové identity a ve vzájemných vztazích jednotlivých lokalit na místní i nadregionální úrovni.

Rescue excavations by archaeologists of the Museum of the Capital City of Prague in the eighties of the 20th century in the newly discovered sites in Prague-Ruzyně and in Prague-Jinonice provided not only fundamental new knowledge about the find complexes and the organization and structure of burial grounds and thus new knowledge for observing the social structure of burying communities, but also the possibility of mutual comparison of both contemporary sites. New knowledge about the world of local communities of the 4th–3rd century BC allows at the same time to observe their culture not only in the material area, but also in artistic expression, in issues of group identity and in the mutual relations of individual sites at the local and supra-regional level.
