We report on the first records of barnacle-substrate relationships from the early Miocene of the Central Paratethys of Austria. Four barnacle genera were identified. Most have been disarticulated due to moderately energetic shallow marine environment, but some are preserved on fossilized wood with opercula retained in-situ.
