A novel concept for autonomous dried blood spot analyses is presented herein. A single off-the-shelf capillary electrophoresis (CE) instrument is used for executing all tasks of the analytical protocol and it enables high-throughput DBS analyses of endogenous markers and exogenous species for various clinical assays.
