El ensayo de Jan Patočka sobre el alma abierta representa el pináculo de su interpretación de Comenius, que se sitúa aquí en el contexto de reflexiones sobre la crisis de Europa y la esperanza de una nueva era poseuropea. Este capítulo trae la primera traducción de este estudio al español. La traducción fue realizada por E. Krausová y G. Vargas. Věra Schifferová, editora de este texto en los Escritos completos de Jan Patočka, revisó la traducción y le añadió varios comentarios.

Patočka’s essay on the open soul represents the pinnacle of his interpretation of Comenius, which is set here in the context of reflections on the crisis of Europe and the hope of a new post-European period. This chapter brings the first ever translation of this study into Spanish. The translation was made by E. Krausová and G. Vargas. Věra Schifferová, the editor of this text in the Collected Writings of Jan Patočka, revised the translation and added several comments to it.
