The paper concentrated on the just transition as a law concept and on its position in conceptual frameworks of a wider sustainability and climate debate. It focused on the question where to position just transition in the debate on sustainability, and where to position it in the debate on climate action. The objective was to shed some light on what potential the concept of just transition has and if it is more developed, whether it could even frame and guide the climate debate.
