Předkládaný patent se týká přípravy a studia vlastností vodorozpustných polymerních terapeutik s kancerostatikem cytarabinem určených především pro léčbu leukémií a non-Hodgkinových lymfomů v humánní medicíně. Cytarabin je připojen k polymernímu řetězci přes aminokyselinovou nebo oligopeptidickou spojku situovanou v bočním řetězci polymeru. Připojení cytarabinu k polymernímu nosiči umožňuje zvýšit stabilitu cytarabinu během cirkulace v krevním řečišti a jeho následnou akumulaci v neoplastické tkáni, kde dojde k hydrolytickému uvolnění léčiva. Patent se týká polymerního cytostatika stabilního v prostředí krevního řečiště a jeho použití v medicíně.

The submitted patent relates to the preparation and study of the properties of various structures of water-soluble polymeric therapeutics with the cancerostatic agent cytarabine intended primarily for the treatment of leukemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas in human medicine. Cytarabine is attached to the polymer chain via an amino acid or oligopeptide linker situated in the side chain of the polymer chain. Attachiment of cytarabine to a polymer carrier allows to increase the stability of cytarabine during circulation in the blood stream and its accumulation in the neoplastic tissue, where the drug is hydrolytically released. The patent is based on a polymeric cytostatic agent stable in the bloodstream and its use in medicine.
