    We report on a new type of Optical Solar Reflector consisting of a metamaterial coating deposited on Kapton film. The device combines easy handling and low solar absorbance with temperature-variable emissivity to enable radiative cooling in the hot phase while mitigating heat losses in the cold phase. Demonstrators of the technology are currently under ageing tests to simulate the effects of two years in a GEO environment.
