Studie přináší informace o nejdůležitějším vědeckém a výstavním projektu spojeném s působením Alberta Kutala (1904–1976) v Obrazárně Moravského zemského muzea v Brně, kterým byla výstava středověkého umění uspořádaná na přelomu let 1935 a 1936. Tento významný počin pak srovnává s dalšími evropskými i tuzemskými projekty a zařazuje tak brněnskou přehlídku do historického a mezinárodního kontextu.

The study provides information about the most important scientific and exhibition project associated with the work of Albert Kutal (1904–1976) in the Picture Gallery of the Moravian Museum in Brno, which was an exhibition of medieval art organized at the turn of 1935 and 1936. The author then compares this important achievement with other European and domestic projects and thus places the Brno exhibition in a historical and international context.
