Výstava představuje Pavla Baňku nejen jako významného českého fotografa, jehož dílo je zastoupeno v řadě fotografických sbírek po celém světě, ale i jako neúnavného networkera, který přispěl k formování českých dějin fotografie posledních několika dekád svou dlouholetou pedagogickou i organizátorskou činností. Kromě jeho vlastní tvorby výstava prezentuje i snímky dokumentující dění na fotografické scéně, jehož byl často spolutvůrcem a zároveň díla již nežijících kamarádů fotografů Pavla Diase, Ivana Lutterera, Jana Malého, Jiřího Poláčka a Jana Reicha.

The exhibition presents Pavel Baňka not only as an important Czech photographer, whose work is represented in many photographic collections around the world, but also as a tireless networker who has contributed to shaping the Czech history of photography over the last few decades through his long-standing pedagogical and organizational activities. In addition to his own work, the exhibition also presents images documenting the events on the photographic scene, of which he was often a co-creator, as well as works by his friends-photographers Pavel Dias, Ivan Lutterer, Jan Malý, Jiří Poláček and Jan Reich.
