Během roku 2016 byly v Grejfském pásmu v Kutné Hoře (Kuttenberg) v Čechách objeveny pozůstatky větracího stroje na ruční pohon. Dendrochronologické datování stroje poskytlo dvě data 1521/1522 a několik dalších dat z prvního až druhého desetiletí 16. století. Tento druh stroje je zachycen i na známém vyobrazení z Kutnohorského graduálu z roku 1490.

During the year 2016, the relicts of a man-powered ventilation machine were discovered at the Grejfské vein complex in Kutná Hora (Kuttenberg) in Bohemia. The dendrochronological dating of the machine has provided two dates 1521/1522 and several other dates from the first to the second decade of the 16th century. This kind of machine is also depicted on the well-known illustration from the Kutná Hora hymn-book from 1490.
