    We show that combination of hydrophobic chiral polyimide with highly hydrophilic polyether-block-amide (PEBAX® 1657) allows for flexible polymeric membrane films with good permeability and excellent selectivity towards L-Tryptophan. Pertraction experiments reveal more than 99 % enantiomeric excess both in retentate and permeate compartments of our diffusion cell at the end of the experiment, owing to the high sorption selectivity and capacity of the membrane.
