Kapitola popisuje vztahy mezi právem lidských práv a změnou klimatu, zejména se soustředí na rostoucí trend pojímat dopady klimatické změny optikou zásahů do lidských práv. Analyzuje lidskoprávní povinnosti států v kontextu klimatické změny, uvažuje nad aplikovatelností tradičních lidských práv na problém klimatu a nad možností vzniku nového lidského práva na příznivé klima.
The chapter describes the relationship between human rights law and climate change, focusing in particular on the growing trend to conceptualise the impacts of climate change through the lens of human rights interventions. It analyses the human rights obligations of states in the context of climate change, considering the applicability of traditional human rights to the climate problem and the possibility of a new human right to a favourable climate.
