Obrazy v době Přemyslovců: odborné kolokvium pořádané Ústavem dějin umění AV ČR, v. v. i. a věnované epoše zrodu výtvarné tradice ve střední Evropě nazvané. V přemyslovském období se na našem území objevují a postupně etablují základní obrazové typy a struktury jako architektonické a později i volné sochařství, nástěnná malba, iluminovaný rukopis, relikviář ve formě sochy či zlatnického díla, umělecky ztvárněné liturgické náčiní nebo obrazy/otisky na mincích, pečetích či dlažbě. Kolokvium bylo zaměřeno na proměny obrazu s ohledem na historický, církevně historický i sociokulturní kontext a komunikační roli v rámci mocenské reprezentace či liturgie a kultu. Vybrané příspěvky se také tázaly po vlastním výtvarném charakteru vizuálních forem, speciálních ikonografických problémech a věnovaly se tématům souvisejícím s konkrétní funkcí a používáním dochovaných artefaktů.

Images at the Time of the Premyslids: an scholarly colloquium organized by the Institute of Art History of the CAS, devoted to the epoch of the birth of the artistic tradition in Central Europe. In the Premyslid period, fundamental pictorial types and structures such as architectural and later also free sculpture, wall painting, illuminated manuscript, reliquary in the form of sculpture or goldsmith's work, artistically rendered liturgical utensils or images on coins, seals or pavement appear and gradually establish themselves in our territory. The colloquium focused on the transformations of the image with respect to its historical, ecclesiastical and socio-cultural context and its communicative role within power representation or liturgy and cult. Selected papers also inquired into the inherent artistic character of visual forms, special iconographic concerns, and addressed topics related to the specific function and use of surviving artifacts.
