Plasma jet sputtering is a convenient method for preparing catalysts supported on stainless steel mesh-es. Such catalysts are particularly suitable for processes carried out at high space velocities. Mixed oxides are effective catalysts in the oxidation of volatile organic compounds and especially active are catalysts based on cobalt oxides in combination with Mn oxides. In this contribution, we studied properties and oxidation activity of Ni-Со oxide mixtures prepared by hollow cathode plasma jet sputtering, as plasma jet sputtering of these metals can be realized on a large scale.
