We demonstrate an experimental method of determining the mass of Abrikosov vortices in a superconductor. For a nearly optimally doped thin YBa2Cu3O7−δ film, we found the value of a diagonal mass amounting to 2.2 × 108 electron masses per centimeter (me/cm) at 45 K and in the zero-frequency limit, and an even larger off-diagonal mass of 4.9 × 108 me/cm.
