The rejection of an objectivist approach of a classical scientific paradigm means a new vision of science in which an actor returns as a cultural actor that takes all the cultural baggage with him. Therefore we explore a transition from a narrow to a broad understanding of culture. It ranges from neglecting culture in the theoretical studies to the recent theories of cultural performance that demonstrates culture’s determinative power and its relative autonomy from social structures.
