Kapitola se zaměřuje na historii exilového vydávání knih Ludvíka Vaculíka v 70. a 80. letech 20. století. Analýza je založena na studiu korespondence, vzpomínek spisovatelů a pramenů souvisejících s aktivitamu Státní bezpečnosti. Článek odhaluje rizika spojená s publikováním v exilových nakladatelstvích a představuje vzájemné vztahy mezi českými spisovateli žijícími v Československu a jejich zahraničními nakladateli. Autor ukazuje, proč rok 1977 představuje zlom v dějinách českých exilových nakladatelství.

The chapter focuses on the history of exile publishing of Ludvík Vaculík's books in the 1970s and 1980s. The analysis is based on correspondence, memoirs of writers and sources related to the activities of the State Security. The article reveals the threats associated with publishing in exile publishing houses and presents the mutual relations between Czech writers living in Czechoslovakia and their foreign publishers. The author shows why 1977 represents a turning point in the history of Czech exile publishers.
