Cílem bilaterálního semináře byl kulatý stůl účastníků geologické expedice, s nimiž byly vedeny pamětnické rozhovory, shromážděn archivní materiál, připravena a slavnostně otevřena výstava. Na semináři byly zpřístupněny filmové rozhovory s pamětníky vědy, aby pomohly vyvolat jejich další vzpomínky u příležitosti, kdy se po 50 letech vědecká expedice potkala znovu dohromady.

The aim of the bilateral seminar was a round table of the participants of the geological expedition, with whom memorial interviews were conducted, archival material was collected, and an exhibition was prepared and inaugurated. Filmed interviews with science veterans were made available at the seminar to help trigger their further memories on the occasion of the scientific expedition meeting again after 50 years.
